Emily Munday is the Director of Operations at CuliNex, the industry’s premier consulting firm providing product development & strategic business services focused on clean label food products.  CuliNex works with a diverse range of companies from international brands to small family owned businesses, assisting them in planning and executing their product development strategies across all food categories.

Hailing from Seattle, she started making messes in the kitchen at a young age and those early experiences fostered an appreciation and later an obsession, for tinkering, testing and tasting all things edible. She ventured to Johnson & Wales University’s Denver campus, where she earned degrees in both Culinary Arts and Culinary Nutrition. Before figuring out what Culinology was, she dabbled in various food-centric environments, from working as a line cook in fine dining to high volume catering and later as a nutrition consultant and chef instructor.

She particularly enjoys boozy brunches, buying condiments at Asian grocery stores, and cooking for her friends and family.
